Adam McKenzie

Eleven years ago, Mayor Adam McKenzie ran for Westville City Council to help the community. He likes the progress the council has been making recently with cleaning up the town and getting a splash pad.

“The splash pad is on schedule to be ready to open this summer," said McKenzie.

The American Rescue Plan Act funding has helped many communities fund key projects.

“We bought an excavator to fix up the roads,” said McKenzie.

In one of the surveys the council has put out for citizens to say how they’d like to see Westville grow and what it needs, many expressed the hope the pool can be repaired or replaced.

“We’re still trying to get bids on the pool,” he said.

He would like to see more people fill out the surveys so the council has the best feedback on what citizens want.

McKenzie encourages citizens to attend City Council meetings and get involved in the town.



“I want to thank those who are involved and a part of the community for helping it grow and improve,” said McKenzie.
